Level 7 apprenticeships offer the perfect opportunity to upskill and retain experienced staff, creating a workforce with the skills to tackle current and future sector challenges. From January 2026, only apprentices aged 16-21 (at start) will be eligible for funding through the Growth and Skills Levy, on Level 7 apprenticeship programmes.
As a result, December 2025 will be the last opportunity for organisations to upskill staff through Manchester Met’s Level 7 programmes.
Applications are now open for the following programmes:
- Senior Leader PgDip Apprenticeship - for employees working in executive, strategic or senior management roles
- Senior People Professional PgDip Apprenticeship - for employees working in human resource roles
- Digital and Technology Solutions Specialist (Masters) Degree Apprenticeship – for employees working in software engineering and data analytics roles.
Manchester Metropolitan University is the leading provider of degree apprenticeships. Contact the apprenticeships team to join one of the last December 2025 cohorts and secure current funding: apprenticeships-employer@mmu.ac.uk
